Elle est reconnue association d’utilité publique depuis 1994 et dispose de convention avec les ministères de la santé, de la femme de la solidarité nationale et de la famille, du ministère de la jeunesse, de la promotion de l’emploi et de l’entrepreneuriat.\n\nSes zones d’intervention couvrent le territoire national (13 régions) et 32 districts sur 70.\n\nLe dispositif organisationnel comprend 1323 volontaires, 32 leaders communautaires, 770 pairs éducateurs, 64 personnel salariés. Les organes de gouvernance sont renouvelés tous les trois ans. Le récépissé de renouvellement est enregistré sous le numéro N000004217.
